Dear Readers,

The long-standing drawn out peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine have been perennially sponsored and supported by the United States and have been ongoing for decades with little or no progress, inclusive of several setbacks over the years. It appears to be an experiment in futility, but Readers what exactly is holding up progress on this vital Middle East peace issue?

At the risk of offending practicing Orthodox Jews and their dietary habits, I believe the Israelis, to state the least, have been “pig-headed”and unreasonable in their consistently static approach to peace negotiations. It has been that way since the very beginning of serious negotiations in the 1980’s. Let’s face it the Israel government does not want a complete peace agreement because it is not in their best interest just yet, or in any way beneficial to their inborn Zionist leadership and religious society, and as they are financially mentored by the U. S. during times of continuous stress and turmoil Israel while always posing as a poor small victimized beleaguered country which it is not.

The Israelis are gaining land piece by piece in sections by the suppression of the Palestinians without outwardly fighting them. It is a slow process, but Israel demands the entire land boundary of a Jewish state composed for their own people which includes unfortunately all of Palestine. The Zionist will stop at nothing to acquire their objective in the short or in the long-term so there is always a “good” excuse or some small detail to delay or suspend negotiations in good faith for a peaceful outcome. The Israelis therefore throw every possible barrier in the way of a just settlement. There I said it “Settlement, settlements, from day one in 1948 the Israelis have never ceased expansion at the cost to the Palestinians and their land, while disregarding human rights, pushing the Palestinians into a small, ever smaller pocket that was once a part of their homeland.

There is always some excuse, There is always an invalid or some hard-line controversial not to talk or negotiate, and Israel’s often unfounded delays are supported by a politically compromised United States. No matter what the U. S and world Media promises there never was a ” level playing field” between the two antagonists. It is always tilted. The elective American government as is the appointed administration are largely captured by dozens of rich Jewish contributors and supporters and with it, the adroit influential Jewish Lobby. The U. S. cannot escape these necessary political realities while acting in role as a Israeli defense attorney, protecting the interests of Israel and the Jewish Lobby. The Jews have the money and the votes to sway almost any election and American congressional legislators know it.

One most recent indicator of Israel’s bad faith has been “To with whom do we negotiate, to whom do we make peace with, Gaza or the West Bank? After an internal national Palestinian reconciliation as a single entity in April Israel changed its tune, and presently indicate they can’t negotiate with a united Palestinian government that includes Hamas. In the 1980’s the Palestine Liberation Organization, the PLO, composed of present Hamas members gave in to Israel, and recognized 78% of Palestinian land as a part of Israel. That was due primarily to the aggressive expansionist settlement policy, thus leaving the Palestinians with a mere 22% of their once historical homeland. That apparently was not enough, the Jews wanted the whole bagel loaf. Since that time, the remaining 22%  has been settled by a substantial number of Jewish settlers, thousands, and building continues to this day.

Another excuse by the Israelis has been the delay in recognition of a “Jewish State” by the Arab League. This accredited international body of 57 countries has offered an Arab-Muslim peace initiative in exchange for rescinding a U. S-Israeli sponsored sleight of hand UN resolution maintaining the 22% of occupied land be returned to the Israelis in contravention of a previous agreements. Israel in an arrogant manner rejected the offer, and continues to build new settlements wherever it feels its needs to. This past month the Israelis came up with another obstructive move to avoid peace, an older one repeated, demanding the Gaze Hamas faction specifically recognize the “Jewish State” on the homeland of Palestinians knowing well this was unacceptable and would negate Palestinian history and open the door for further official confiscation of occupied Palestinian land. Hamas is only a political wing party contributing to the potential agreement. As we know the Palestinians have no authority within their meager section of land, as the apartheid territory is controlled entirely by the Israeli government, that being access by land, sea, and air. (No Palestinian can relocate within the territory, or leave the country without Zionist permission)

Adding misery to the Palestinian plight Netanyahu appointed his Foreign Minister as Housing Minister, and Knesset speaker, to oversee settlements and who just happens to be a dedicated extremist advocating further expansion. Because of Israel’s decades of intransigence occasional rockets do fall on southern Israel that are most often non-lethal and generally cause minor damage. The Gaza rocket attacks have been scaled back and are smaller in number 2-3 and of short in duration. Should these occasional rocket attacks cease of course, perhaps they will when a valid peace agreement is reached, In regard to these diminishing attacks, I ask the reader, what would you do as an American to protect yourself and family from an occupier of your home land for 50 years, would you sit on your hands?

Over the past ten months the Jewish State quietly admits it has been avoiding a peace settlement in hopes of frustrating both the United States and the Palestinians into impatience; therefore, mitigating an agreement until they selfishly achieve their intermediate aim as they, the Jews, play the Obama-Kerry-Administration like a violin. During these ten months of “negotiations” the Israelis have killed over 50 Palestinians calling these demonstrators “Terrorists.”  Moreover, The Israels have conducted 4,500 military operations on the Palestinian side of the occupied territory, and have bulldozed hundreds, yes hundreds, of Palestinian homes while the Israeli government approves 13,000 new housing units for settlement. The Israelis have allowed more than 660 settler attacks on Arabs go unpunished. Do we call this justice?

As freedom loving Americas we should be ashamed to support Israel as we do with billions dollars that in part act to suppress the Palestinians.

All the Best.
